retro room, attentive staff, peaceful location. fairly clean and tasteful hotel in city of london district. besides, it was close to restaurants and the bars. great beds, a mini-bar, central heating and an electronic key card were a nice touch. the service was terrific and the food was amazing.

The staff was friendly and assisted us greatly. We could visit brick lane, which was 10 minutes on foot. The decoration is amazing.
